What is Botox?

What to expect on the day?
We will take a full medical history and consent from you before we begin and a personalised plan is discussed to meet your goals.
The injections are superficial and administered with a very fine needle. The whole treatment should only last around 15-30 minutes.
Results typically begin to appear within 2–5 days, with the full effect visible after approximately 10–14 days. Most clients enjoy smoother, refreshed-looking results for around 3–4 months, after which muscle movement gradually returns. Regular maintenance treatments can help maintain consistent, natural-looking results over time.

To help achieve the best possible results, please follow these aftercare recommendations.
Immediately after treatment
Remain upright for at least 4 hours
Avoid touching, rubbing, massaging or applying pressure to treated areas for 24 hours
Avoid tight headwear that may put pressure on the treatment area
For the first 24 hours
Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive sweating
Avoid excessive alcohol
Avoid facials, facial massage, chemical peels, microneedling and other facial treatments
Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and prolonged sun exposure
Avoid sleeping face down where possible
Continue your normal skincare routine, but avoid vigorous rubbing of treated areas
Follow up appointment:
A review is recommended around 2 weeks after treatment to assess your results and determine whether any adjustments are needed.

Written consent is completed before treatment. The skin is cleansed and the selected areas are carefully assessed and marked where appropriate. Anti-wrinkle treatment is administered using a fine needle into the targeted muscles, with placement and dosage tailored to your individual anatomy.

Aftercare guidance is provided to support your treatment and results. You will be advised on the appropriate care immediately following your appointment. Results develop gradually over the following days, with the final result typically reviewed at around two weeks.
