Pre Procedural Advice
It is advisable to wear your normal make up on the day of your permanent cosmetic procedure as it will give a clear indication to your technician of your preferences, expectations and of what you would like to achieve.
General Pre-Treatment Guidance
Mild redness or swelling is normal, particularly for lip and eyeliner treatments, so plan social events accordingly.
Avoid caffeine on the day of your appointment.
Do not take aspirin or anti-inflammatory medication (e.g. ibuprofen) for 48 hours prior, unless prescribed.
Do not stop prescribed medication without medical advice.
Minimise alcohol intake for 48 hours before treatment.
Avoid Retin-A products near the treatment area for 2 weeks prior.
Avoid AHA skincare products near the area for 2 weeks prior.
Avoid chemical peels near the treatment area for 4 weeks prior.
Treatment-Specific Advice
Eyebrow Enhancements
Waxing or threading should be done at least 2 days prior to your treatment, and electrolysis no less than 5 days before the appointment
Brow tinting should be done no less than 4 days before your appointment.
Avoid brow-stimulating products for 2 weeks prior.
Botox in the brow area should be completed at least 2 weeks before treatment.
Eyeliner Procedures
Do not wear any eyelash extensions prior to arrival
Any eyelash tinting or perming should be carried out at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment
Do not wear contact lenses during or immediately after your treatment. It is advisable to rather wear glasses
Lip Procedures
Any waxing or bleaching treatments should not be carried out for at least 2 weeks before or following your permanent cosmetic treatment
