Laser Tattoo and Permanent Makeup (PMU) Removal
Laser tattoo removal uses targeted light energy to break down ink beneath the skin. The laser produces shockwaves that shatter pigment into tiny fragments, through a process known as the photomechanical effect, which your body gradually clears. Over multiple sessions, this leads to visible fading and eventual removal.

How Our Laser Works
Precision Wavelengths:
1064nm: Dark pigments (black, blue, brown)
532nm: Lighter pigments (red, orange, pink)
1320nm: Gentle deep skin rejuvenation
Each pigment responds differently; we assess your tattoo to determine the ideal approach
Lip Blush and PMU Notes
Fitzpatrick 1–3: Oxidised ink treats well
Fitzpatrick 4–6: PMU may oxidise to red/purple; 1064nm laser recommended
Lip blush can be removed on lighter skin; risk of grey oxidation

-
Yes — certain tattoos can be fully removed with laser treatment, especially black ink or simple designs. However, coloured inks, older tattoos, or tattoos with deeper pigment may need more sessions and may not disappear completely.
-
Most people describe it as quick, hot snaps on the skin — similar to an elastic band flick with heat. It’s usually tolerable, and numbing options are available to help reduce discomfort during your laser tattoo removal session.
-
Sessions are usually brief and depend on tattoo size. Small tattoos typically take under 15 minutes, including prep and aftercare.
-
Tattoo removal is gradual and typically requires multiple sessions — around 6–10 sessions for many clients. The exact number depends on tattoo size, location, depth, ink colour, age of the tattoo, and skin type. We’ll give you an estimated treatment plan during your consultation.
-
Laser tattoo removal is generally safe, but you may experience temporary redness, swelling, scabbing, or skin sensitivity. Frosting (whitening) can occur and is normal — it usually fades within 10–48 hours. Rare risks include pigment changes or scarring, particularly if aftercare isn’t followed.
-
This treatment may not be suitable if you are pregnant, have severe heart or immune conditions, are currently sunburnt, or have had certain recent skin treatments. We’ll confirm suitability during your consultation.
-
You’ll typically start noticing fading as the body clears pigment over time. Most visible results are seen 6–8 weeks after each treatment, which is why sessions are spaced out.
