This can be as subtle or dramatic as you desire – either blending subtly with your own natural lip colour or matching your favourite cosmetic lip colour.

Our Process

  • An abstract outline icon with a starburst contained within a circle shape.

    Consultation

Every treatment begins with a detailed consultation via telephone or in person.  We review medical history, answer questions.

  • An abstract outline icon with diagonal lines within a circle shape.

    Allergy Test

Although our pigments are hypoallergenic, a sensitivity test is required before treatment to confirm suitability. This can be carried out on the day of your appointment as a scratch (skin prick) test, arranged at the salon at least 48 hours prior to your booking, or sent to you by post.

A deposit is required to secure your appointment. Please note that, while testing helps assess sensitivity, delayed reactions can still occur.

  • An abstract outline icon with a rainbow-shaped pattern within a circle shape.

    Day of Treatment

Written consent forms are completed. During treatment, the lips are carefully mapped, numbed and shaded to enhance shape and give you your desired colour. The approach is tailored to achieve a balanced, refreshed finish.

  • An abstract outline icon with geometric and diagonal lines across a circle shape.

    Post-treatment

You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions to protect colour retention. A follow-up appointment which is included in the price is scheduled 4–8 weeks later to perfect the result and ensure optimal results.

Please read through our Pre Procedural Advice and Post Procedural Advice before booking, so you feel fully informed and know exactly what to expect.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our Semi-Permanent Lip Liner and Lip Blush treatments.

  • Lip blush is a semi-permanent lip tint (also known as cosmetic tattooing or a lip tattoo) applied to enhance the natural colour of your lips, providing a full blush of beautiful colour, correcting the shape, adding definition and creating the illusion of volume. Depth of colour is tailored to individual choice for natural-looking lip blush results.

  • Typically 18 months – 3 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare (including skincare, sun exposure and colour maintenance).

  • Topical numbing is applied to minimise sensation during your lip blush permanent makeup treatment.

  • Initial healing takes 5–7 days, with full results visible after 4 weeks. A top-up is required between 4–8 weeks to perfect the result and ensure optimal results and even colour retention.

  • Keep lips clean and dry. Avoid touching, picking, or scratching the area. Moisturise with balm provided to support healing and colour retention after your lip blush treatment.

  • Yes, but avoid very hot, spicy, or acidic foods for the first few days to prevent irritation during lip blush aftercare.

  • No, avoid all lip products until fully healed (usually 5–7 days) after your semi-permanent makeup appointment.

  • Some flaking or dryness is normal. Do not peel; let it happen naturally for the best lip blush healing and final colour.
